BTS' J-Hope (real name Jung Ho-Seok) bid farewell to his fans ahead of his military enlistment.
On April 17th, J-Hope shared several photos on Weverse and Instagram. The post was followed by the caption, “I love you ARMY. I will come back in good health.”
The photos show J-Hope with a short haircut, dressed in a casual training set, saluting to the camera and smiling brightly.
On April 18th, J-Hope enlisted as an active duty solider in the Gangwon Province military training center to fulfill his his mandatory service. After completing five weeks of basic military training, J-Hope will be assigned and dispatched at the end of May to a military unit.
J-Hope is the second member of BTS to be enlisted, after Jin who is serving in the army since December last year. It is known that other BTS members will fulfill their military service plans sequentially, following Jin and J-Hope. Big Hit Music has previously asked fans to refrain from visiting the enlistment site for safety reasons.
