It has been reported that Jungkook, the youngest member of the group BTS , will demolish a detached house in Itaewon that he purchased two years ago and build a mansion.
According to a media outlet on April 4, Jungkook is putting up a mansion with two basement floors and three ground floors on the site of a detached house in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, which he bought. Existing detached houses are currently being demolished.
The media reported that Jungkook received permission to build a detached house from the Yongsan-gu Office in July last year and completed the demolition of the existing building in December of the same year.
The detached house that Jungkook is building has two basement floors and three ground floors, with a total floor area of 1,161.04㎡.
It is scheduled to be completed on May 31st next year.
Earlier in November 2020, Jungkook purchased the house for about 7.63 billion won. The house, known to have been built in 1976, has a total floor area of 230.74㎡ and a land area of 637㎡.
After purchasing the house, Jungkook presented his brother with an apartment in Yongsan City Park, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, with an area of 184.49㎡ and 4 billion won.
Meanwhile, Jungkook has been meeting the public with individual activities that reveal his color, such as continuing collaboration with many artists since the suspension of BTS group activities. Recently, Jungkook proved to be a trend by selling out all the worn products as an ambassador for fashion brand C.
