On March 2nd, Netflix series ‘Black Knight’ (written and directed by Cho Eui-Seok) released the first batch of teaser posters. One poster showed collapsed buildings in ruins with an oxygen mask scattered on the floor amidst the crumbles. In another poster, Kim Woo-Bin is captured close-up, who is wearing an oxygen mask. In the last poster, Kim Woo-Bin is standing on the roof of a delivery van, holding a gun.
The setting of ‘Black Knight’ is set in the background of the Korean Peninsula in the future, where people cannot live without an oxygen respirator. It is the story of couriers of ‘Cheonmyeong Group’ who deliver oxygen to the remaining 1% of humanity on Earth.
Kim Woo-Bin plays the lead role of a legendary courier driver ‘5-8’, who delivers daily necessities through polluted air, fighting back attacks from the hunters. Song Seung-Heon plays the role of Cheonmyeong Group’s heir, which is a conglomerate group that rules the new world without oxygen.
Kang Yoo-Seok plays the role of a refugee boy who dreams of becoming a courier. Esom appears as a military intelligence major.
An official from the drama said, "Look out for the acts who transform from mere delivery drivers to true knights to save the world.”
