On February 25th, New Jeans exceeded 200 million streams on the world’s largest music platform ‘Spotify’, with ‘Ditto.’ The track recorded 200,839,307 streams in 68 days after its official drop, which is the shortest time ever for a track to reach the 200 million mark. In just 32 days, ‘Ditto’ hit the 100 million streams milestone.
‘Ditto’ is the second track to hold a 200 million stream record. New Jeans’ debut song ‘Hype Boy’ reached the 200 million mark in 186 days after its release. In addition, ‘Attention’ has a cumulative number of 178,873,016 streams, and ‘OMG’ records 157,308,184 streams.
Since their debut in July last year, New Jeans has released a total of six tracks. Based on Spotify's latest chart, the cumulative streams of all the songs has exceeded 900 million plays.
The group’s global popularity is soaring high, steadily climbing to the top of the charts. On Spotify’s 'Global Weekly Top Songs' chart (as of February 23rd), 'OMG' (No. 15) succeeded in charting for 8 consecutive weeks and 'Ditto' (No. 29) for 10 consecutive weeks.
