by. soobyn Park

BTS’ J-Hope is ready for enlistment. On February 26th, Big Hit Music announced on ‘Weverse’ that J-Hope has officially cancelled his enlistment postponement, in order to fulfill his military service.

The statement read, "Follow-up news related to military enlistment will be announced as soon as there is confirmation.” The statement continued to read, “We ask for your unconditional love until the day J-Hope fulfills his military service and returns in good health.”

Lastly, the statement added, “We will continue to support J-Hope.”

This makes J-Hope the second runner up of BTS to serve in the military, after Jin, who is the eldest member of the group. Jin enlisted in the army last year in December.

Recently, J-Hope contributed to the restoration and relief of the Turkey-Syria earthquake by making a donation of 100 million KRW. The star said, “I hope this contribution can be a hope for children who are suffering from the loss and damage of the earthquake.”
