NewJeans Minji, who is gaining explosive popularity, proved to be a trend again as she was selected as an Ambassador for Chanel Korea.

On Feb. 14, NewJeans agency ADOR announced that Min-ji will be an official ambassador for Chanel Beauty, Fashion, Watch & Jewelry. The selection of Ambassador in three categories is the first case in Chanel Korea.

On February 13, a magazine introduced NewJeans Minji, saying, 

"The long-awaited 'New Chanel Girl' and the cover girl of the month." 

Minji decorated the cover of the magazine by herself. She pulled off the Chanel look and makeup in a chic and imposing manner.

BLACKPINK Jennie has been working as an ambassador for Chanel House since 2019.

Jennie, who first became a Chanel Korea beauty muse in 2017, has been selected as a Chanel House Ambassador in 2019 and has continued her relationship with Chanel by working as a model for the Coco Neige collection in 2021 and 2022 and as a Chanel fine jewelry Coco Crush campaign model.

In particular, Jennie got the modifier "Human Chanel" because Chanel's costumes and jewelry suit her so well, and attention is being paid to whether she will be able to protect the modifier "human Chanel" as NewJeans Minji was selected as a new Chanel Korea Ambassador.

Meanwhile,this is the first time that Minji has been selected as a Chanel brand ambassador for her first photo shoot this year.

On the other hand, Jennie has been filming various categories of pictorials such as Chanel beauty, perfume, fashion, and jewelry since 2017, and has conducted six out of seven photo shoots she took with Chanel last year.
