Three Korean entertainment companies provided a total of 1.2 billion won to recover from the earthquake damage in Turkiye and Syria.
Hybe delivered 500 million won in emergency relief donations through Save the Children on February 13.
Donations are used for children in affected areas. It will be used to prepare temporary shelters, including water, food, medical supplies, blankets, and clothing.
"We express our deepest condolences.We wish for an early recovery of the affected area," he said.
On the same day, SM Entertainment also announced a donation. The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced that SM Entertainment donated 200 million won.
The donation will be used to repair damage to the area. It will be provided to provide relief supplies for the victims and reconstruct earthquake-stricken areas.
Lee Sung-soo and Tak Young-joon, co-CEOs of SM Entertainment, said, "We would like to express our condolences to everyone who lost their family and their home in a moment," adding, "SM want to be together to recover from the damage even a little bit."
Earlier, JYP Entertainment donated 500 million won through World Vision on February 10.
At the time, JYP Entertainment explained, "We express our deep consolation to Turkiye and Syrian children and residents who lost their homes and families."
He also added, "I hope it will help Turkiye and Syria, which have lost their daily lives due to sudden damage, recover as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck southeastern Turkiye on February 6 (local time).
