"I don't have any regrets about being an idol, I'll be an actor."
Nako Yabuki, who is about to graduate from the group HKT48, announced her plan to act as an actor.
Nako Yabuki, who plans to graduate from the team with her 16th single "You Can Do More," recently interviewed Japanese media.
"I thought I could still grow with this song. Since I am going to be an actor in the future, I want to continue to improve my acting skills and become a strong person who does not lose original intention and does not falter.” She said.
When asked if she has any regrets about her idol life, she said, "I have no regrets as an idol. I think I've achieved all my goals as an idol. She replied,
"I think it was an idol life that was faithful in many ways, such as being selected in the center, being selected in the general election, or being selected by AKB48."
Regarding concerns that the idol image will remain when acting, she said, "I don't know the meaning of it because I'm still an idol. But when I'm acting, I want to be such that people think, 'She's a completely different person.'
