by. soobyn Park

The ensemble worn by BTS' J-Hope for his solo album cover shoot ‘Jack in the Box’ has sold for 28 million KRW. Recently, 'MusiCares' held a charity relief auction with some of J-Hope's clothing and props. ‘MusiCares’ is a charity organization affiliated with 'Recording Academy' and is hosted by Julien’s Auctions, which holds an annual charity of auctioning artists’ belongings in order to help musicians facing financial and medical crises.

On February 6th, J-Hope put a black jumpsuit and beanie hat ensemble up for auction. It was later announced that J-Hope's outfit was sold for $21,875 USD and it was sold for more than five times the bidding price.

Last year in February, J-Hope’s three Louis Vuitton rings that were worn on stage at the 63rd Grammy Awards also went under the hammer. The rings sold for 30 million KRW which is approximately $24,000 USD.

The likes of Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles and Eminem have also donated items to help raise funds this year.
