On January 3rd, JYP Entertainment unveiled an online cover image of Twice’s new upcoming English single ‘Moonlight Sunrise.’
The image shows a mystical pink and blue background that depicts the ‘moonlight’ and ‘sunrise', just as it is written in the title. The simple yet pretty image has raised anticipation for the new single.
‘Moonlight Sunrise’ will be dropping the charts on January 20th at 14:00 (KST), and soon after in March, the girl group are planned to release a full new mini album.
This will mark a comeback for Twice in around seven months, which is a first since their previously released 11th mini album ‘Between 1 & 2’ in August last year.
Twice’s popularity is on the rise, making it into US 'Billboard 200' with their 11th mini album and leader Nayeon’s solo debut. An official from JYP Entertainment said, “we will start the drive for the momentum with a new English single and lead on to a 12th mini album in 2023, which will heat up the fan spirit.”
