SM Entertainment’s artists have hinted an extraordinary collaboration, ready for the festive season.
On December 21st, SM Entertainment announced, "BoA, TVXQ's Max Changmin, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon, Red Velvet's Wendy, aespa's Ning Ning and Winter, will present a special winter album titled the '2022 Winter SM Town: SMCU Palace' units."
First off, artists Boa, Wendy and Ning Ning teamed up for an angelic harmony to reveal ‘One (Time After Time), which is an R&B genre that portrays the feeling of falling in love and going around in circles.
Max Changmin, Taeyeon and Winter collaborated to sing another track titled 'Priority’, which is also an R&B genre. According to an official from the agency, the high-pitched second-half of the song is the listening point as the vocalists sing their hearts out to express the emotional rollercoaster of falling in love.
SM Entertainment's winter album holds two title tracks titled 'The Cure' and 'Beautiful Christmas.’ 'The Cure' is a song where all artists have been involved and will sing, therefore the anticipation is high for the official reveal.
The winter special album includes a total of ten tracks. In the remaining tracks, other artists will deliver festive season moods. Here is a review of the track list: 'Hot & Cold' (Temperature Difference) by EXO's Kai, Red Velvet's Seulgi, NCT's Jeno and Aespa's Karina. 'Jet' by Super Junior's Eunhyuk, 'Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon, NCT's Taeyong, Jaemin and Sungchan as well as Aespa's Winter and Giselle. ‘Good to Be Alive’ by Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon, Aespa’s Ning Ning, SHINee’s Key, EXO’s Chen and NCT’s Johnny.
