New K-drama ‘Race’, will premiere through Disney Plus next year, and has just confirmed the main cast list. Lee Yeon-Hee, Jung Yun-Ho, Hong Jong-Hyun and Moon So-Ri have confirmed their roles.
'Race' is an office drama, centered around Park Yoon-Jo (played by Lee Yeon-Hee) who is a passionate PR department employee of a large company. Having lived her life to steer her own ways through life and its hardships, with no academic grades and family background to put forward, the character will truly reflect a typical office worker from the 1990s.
Hong Jong-Hyun plays the role of Ryu Jae-Min, who is the star employee for a large public relations office. He is a contrasting character to Park Yoon-Jo and their chemistry will unfold in the drama.
Moon So-Ri plays the role of Gu Yi-Jung who is an expert in the public relations industry. Well known for her rational judgement, her friendship with Park Yoon-Jo will unravel in the drama.
Jung Yun-Ho plays the role of Seo Dong-Hun, who is the representative of a public relations agency. Dong-Hoon is a free-soul character with a flexible mindset that compromises even when faced with limitations.
A representative from the drama explained, "'Race' tells the story of people running the race of life in different positions. How the four characters will intertwine and complete their chemistry will unravel in the drama.”
