Director Bong Joon-Ho will return to screens with a new film in 2024, titled ‘Mickey 17.’
On December 6th, Warner Bros announced on Twitter, “'Mickey 17', directed by Academy Award-winning director Bong Joon-Ho and starring Robert Pattinson, will be released in March 2024.”
A first-look teaser video lasting 30 seconds was revealed. Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson woke up in a cold laboratory bed with intense string instruments playing in the background.
'Mickey 17' is a science-fiction genre, based on the 2022 novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton. The story centers around an employee, played by Robert Pattinson, who sets off on an expedition to colonise an ice world. It depicts the story of cloned humans pioneering an unknown planet, with the employee trying to stop his clone from replacing him. The cast includes Steven Yeun, Naomi Ackie, Toni Collette and Mark Ruffalo.
'Mickey 17' will be released in cinemas on March 29th, 2024.
