On December 4th, Seolhyun posted a selfie on her Instagram story, showing an imitation of football player Son Heung-Min. In the photo, Seolhyun is copying Son’s facial expression that was captured during one of the matches at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Seolhyun has added a black mask sticker to cover her eyes, much like Son Heung-Min's mask which he is wearing during play, due to an injury on his face.
Previously, when Hwang Hee-Chan scored the winning goal for Korea against Portugal, Seolhyun shared a post on Instagram saying, “I knew Hee-Chan would do it!” Seolhyun’s post drew attention as it is already widely known that the two are friends from elementary school.
Following on from her supporting posts towards Hwang Hee-Chan, Seolhyun has shared a comical parody of Son Heung-Min, revealing her fanaticism for the national football team.
