K-pop star HyunA has announced the end of her six-year relationship with K-pop star Dawn on Instagram. On November 30th, HyunA posted, “we broke up. We have decided to stay as good friends and colleagues. Thank you for all of your support.”

In February this year, Dawn proposed to HyunA. Fans speculated that marriage would be the next step for the two.
However, after the breakup, fans have pointed out that HyunA did not mention anything about Dawn during her interview on Lee Young-Ji’s entertainment program earlier in August this year. Fans are saying that HyunA seemed to have “avoided” talking about Dawn, implying that their relationship may have been on a rocky road for several months.
At the time, HyunA said, "I do not know when I will be able to drink with a girlfriend again.”
When Lee Young-Ji asked, "It has been 15 years since your debut, how come you have not been able to drink?", To this, HyunA replied, "Dawn was half of it."
When asked about dating, HyunA said, "Call him (Dawn) out and hear it from him. I want to stop talking about it now. It's annoying."
A crack between the two was also spotted on MBC-TV's 'Radio Star' last July.
HyunA said, "Dawn does not like taking photos. I can’t stand it anymore.”
In the meantime, both HyunA and Dawn ended their exclusive contracts with P Nation in August.
