On October 20th, BTS’ Jin appeared as a guest in the last episode of the Youtube reality entertainment program hosted by rapper Lee Young-Ji. The reality talk show involves the guest having a one-on-one conversation with the host whilst drinking.
From the beginning of the show, Lee Young-Ji made an impact as she announced that “as today is the last episode, I have brought a 58-degree alcohol with me.”
During the interview, Jin confessed, “Even though I am a ‘superstar’, with alcohol in front of me I cannot stop myself from drinking. What are the limits?” Lee Young-Ji responded with, “this show is number one on Youtube. Do as you like!” Jin responded by joking asking if he could then swear on the show.
Jin revealed, "I lack in social skills because I started my trainee life when I was 20 years old, so I have no friends. If you look at my address book of the cell phone numbers, I have less than ten celebrity friends.” He continued, “ironically, I have succeeded in my career as a professional but because of this, all of my personal relationships have been destroyed.”
On this day, Jin wanted to experience various drinking games. He told Lee Young-Ji, “As I joined as a trainee at the age of twenty, the agency would not let me drink. I am intrigued to play some drinking games!”
To wrap up the show, Lee Young-Ji mentioned the solid teamwork BTS have shown over the years, with reference to contributing to the development of K-pop.
Jin responded with a humble reply saying, "One of the reasons as to why we are successful is because all of us sacrifice for the team. We maintain the good team spirit by not crossing the line and making strong bonds with each other."
