Nako Yabuki, a former member of 'IZ*ONE', has announced that she will no longer be a part of 'HKT48.’
On October 16th, Nako Yabuki announced her decision and plans to become an actress at the 'HKT48 11th Anniversary Live 2022 - Message from the Future' concert held at the Makuhari Messe Event Hall.
On the day, Nako said, "Yabuki Nako will be graduating from HKT48." She continued, "I am sorry to surprise you with the sudden announcement. I became a member of HKT48 when I was in Year 6 of primary school and I remember always following the backs of my seniors. Now that time has passed, many members have graduated and I believe that now is the time for me to graduate.”
She added, “My new dream is to become an actress. I feel excited when I am acting.” Nako together expressed her goal to become an actress who can convey her messages and warm heart to the audience.
Lastly, Nako mentioned the affection she had for the team, saying, "Regardless of the fact that Nako has left, I hope that you will continue to love HKT in the future."
In 2013, Yabuki Nako joined HKT48 and worked concurrently with 'AKB48.’ In 2018, Nako competed in Mnet’s 'Produce 48' as a finalist, performing under the group of ‘IZ*ONE’ until the project finished in April 2019.
