Top stars G-Dragon, Gong Yoo, Kim Go-Eun, Park Seo-Joon, Lee Sung-Kyung and Jennie got together to glorify the cover of Elle magazine’s November issue. The six stars are also known to be ambassadors for luxury brand Chanel. Each of the celebrities could be seen wearing a form of Chanel to celebrate Elle Korea’s 30th anniversary.
The anniversary is commemorating icons of the year. After the photo shoot, G-Dragon commented, “I think icons are people who have an influence beyond the limits of time, just like for both Chanel and Elle. You look back at the two brands thirty years ago today and could still say they were iconic back then. Like these brands, I would like to remain an icon as well as keeping my originality.”
Gong Yoo added, "it is amazing to be celebrating thirty years with Elle Korea. Looking forward to another thirty years!”
Kim Go-Eun said, "it is the first time we all got together to shoot so it was a lot of fun.” She added, “I believe that if I live my life to the fullest by just being myself, I can also be an icon and become the main character of my life.”
Park Seo-Joon remarked, "I still remember the time I took my first photo shoot with Elle which was right after my debut. I remember being so proud of myself as I saw the results across two pages of the magazine. After that, I have done a few other shoots with Elle but nothing can compare to the exhilaration of the first shoot. It is an honor to be able to celebrate and share the 30th anniversary with you Elle.”
Lee Sung-Kyung said, "I am thrilled to be able to join Elle on this special anniversary. I would say that we are all icons in some way.”
And lastly Jennie added, “I would define icons as people who have their own opinions and can express their thoughts clearly and openly. It is an honor to be part of this archive to commemorate Elle’s 30th anniversary.”
