Actress Gong Hyo-Jin (41) and singer Kevin Oh (31) are to wed on October 11th in New York.
Management Soop announced, "Gong Hyo-Jin and Kevin Oh will tie the knot this afternoon in New York.” The wedding is known to be a small wedding held privately for family and close friends only.
Prior to the wedding announcement, the two stars dated secretly for two years and made their relationship public this April. At the time of the reveal, it was unknown that the couple were undergoing wedding preparations.
In August, Kevin Oh announced on his Instagram account, “She (Gong Hyo-Jin) is my best friend and soulmate. I am thrilled to be able to call her my wife. We will have a quiet ceremony in the place where I was born.”
Gong Hyo-Jin added, "I will open the next chapter of my life with Kevin Oh. We ask for your blessings and support as we take the next steps into our new beginning.”
Gong Hyo-Jin is known to be filiming on set for the new K-drama 'Ask the Stars' which will air next year. It is known that she will take a short break during filming to enjoy her wedding ceremony in New York.
Kevin Oh is a Korean-American and was born in New York. In 2015, he rose to fame when he won Mnet's 'Superstar K7' and then continued his career as a band member on JTBC’s ‘Super Band.’
