Actors Kim Nam-Gil, Lee Da-Hee, Cha Eun-Woo and Sung-joon have teamed up to play in Tving’s new K-drama ‘Island’ (directed by Bae Jong and script by Oh Bo-Hyun).

'Island' is a fantasy drama based on a webtoon which is set in Jeju Island and tells the story of characters who are destined to fight the evil monsters living on the Island.

Directed by Bae Jong who has previously made a huge hit with films such as 'Welcome to Dongmakgol' and 'Fabricated City', the anticipation is high for another success. 

Kim Nam-Gil plays the main character named Van who is a serial killer. Destined to protect the world, he hunts down the evil spirits in Jeju Island.

Lee Da-Hee plays the role of Won Miho who is the heiress of Daehan group. Whilst on a trip to Jeju Island, Miho becomes the target of the demons, leading her to team up with Van to hunt the demons down in exchange for money.

Cha Eun-Woo plays the character of John, who is a Catholic priest that exorcises demons. He assists Miho in battling against the demons along with Van.

Lastly, Sung-Joon plays the role of Gungtan who fights the evil with the ability to summon demons, together with Van. However he holds a special power that gives the plot an exciting twist and eventually causes mayhem.

The new drama 'Island' is scheduled to release this coming December so stay in tune!
