On October 2nd, GOT7’s member BamBam posted the caption "1997-2022 R.I.P DoubleB" on his Instagram account.
In the photo, BamBam is seen posing next to Girls’ Generation leader Taeyeon. The two artists are holding their thumbs up and posing with ‘Vs.’ The caption implies the birth year of BamBam in 1997, and the day the photo was taken in 2022, is the day he ‘died’ because he was overwhelmed and excited he got to meet Taeyeon.
On the other hand, GOT7 ended their exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment in May earlier this year and has since released their first album self-titled as 'GOT7.'
