Stray Kids record another million seller… 2.24 million and still counting!
by. soobyn Park

Stray Kids are on fire with their new album ‘Maxident’ as it reached the million-selling mark as of yesterday afternoon on September 28th. ‘Maxident’ has already recorded selling out 2.24 million copies, which follows on from their previous million-selling record last year with ‘No Eyes’ and ‘Ordinary.’

These records are the first for JYP Entertainment and only confirms that Stray Kids are truly a globally recognized K-pop group. In March earlier this year, ‘Ordinary’ sold out 1.3 million copies two days before its official release, but ‘Maxident’ sold 940,000 copies more, making the record a total of 2.24 million copies.

The new album 'Maxident' is a mix of the English words 'max', 'maximum', 'accident' and 'incident'. It holds the meaning of a ‘big event' that occurred by chance and without notice.

The title track is 'CASE 143', which is a love song that expresses the feelings of falling in love for the first time.

Stay in tune for the official drop of ‘Maxident’ as it will be dropping the charts at 13:00 (EST) on October 7th.
