Actors Song Hye-Kyo and Lee Do-Hyun are to star in a thrilling revenge drama.
Production for Netflix's new series 'The Glory' (screenplay by Kim Eun-Sook and directed by Ahn Gil-Ho) was confirmed earlier this morning. With Song Hye-Kyo to play the main role, Lee Do-Hyun, Lim Ji-Yeon, Yeom Hye-Ran and Park Sung-Hoon have also been confirmed to act out an exciting revenge themed drama.
'The Glory' tells the story of a woman who was disturbed by school bullying and violence as a child. She plans her whole life around how to get her revenge to the bullies and bystanders that did not help, therefore anyone who falls into her trap are severely heart-broken and damaged.
Lee Do-Hyun, the leading male act, takes on the role of Joo Yeo-Jeong, who is a character with a hidden story. Behind his bubbly attitude, he hides his complex deep inside.
Lim Ji-Yeon plays the role of Park Yeon-Jin, who has lived a life that looks perfect without a single dark spot. However, she was the leader of school bullying in the past and the drama unveils how the boomerang of incidents chokes her.
Yeom Hye-ran plays the role of Kang Hyun-Nam, who is another victim of school bullying. She proposes a conspiracy to Dong-Eun (Song Hye-Kyo) in order to end the constant bullying.
Park Sung-Hoon plays Jeon Jae-Jun and is the other figure who is responsible for destroying Dong-Eun’s life. He plays the typical role of a free soul who relies on his family’s wealth.
‘The Glory’ is the succeeding work of writer Kim Eun-sook, also known as the master of romance. This time however, instead of sweetness and butterflies, she has drawn out a cold revenge drama. Director Ahn Gil-Ho will be collaborating with the writer, and fans are already excited as they wait for the reveal of the perfect combo.
