Itzy will hold their first world tour starting from Seoul, in August.

JYP Entertainment released the poster for Itzy's world tour 'ITZY THE 1ST WORLD TOUR CHECKMATE' on June 16^th.

The members are standing boldly, looking straight into the camera, with their hands on a chess piece. The concept of the photo is based around chess, as can be seen with the title ‘checkmate’ and the visuals of the girls looking like chess players.

According to the poster, Itzy will hold their first world tour performance at the SK Olympic Handball Stadium in Seoul Olympic Park on August 6^th and 7^th.

Following on, they will meet fans in 8 cities across the United States. They are to visit Los Angeles Youtube Theater on October 26^th (local time), and Phoenix Arizona Federal Theatre on the 29^th.

They will also visit the Dallas Toyota Music Factory on November 1^st, Houston Smart Financial Center on the 3^rd, Atlanta Fox Theatre on the 5^th, Chicago Rosemont Theatre on the 7^th, Boston MGM Music Hall on the 10^th, and New York Hulu Theater on the 13^th.

Itzy will release the new mini album 'CHECKMATE' at 13:00 (00:00 eastern US) on July 15^th. The girl group are heating up for an epic comeback with various teasing contents.

Recently, the group achieved a new record. Following 'Wannabe', 'Dalla Dallas' has also surpassed 300 million views. They are the only girl group to have two or more music videos with 300 million views.

Meanwhile, Itzy is recruiting for the second generation of the official fan club 'midzy'. Various benefits such as official kits, exclusive content, and pre-sale are given. Recruitment is running on Yes24 up til June 22^nd.
