TWICE's Sana is the recent star to test positive for Covid-19. Sana is currently in isolation.
JYP Entertainment issued an announcement on April 26th and claimed, "Sana has tested positive for Covid-19 after undergoing a PCR test."
Sana had arrived in Japan on April 16th. The idol took two Covid tests, one on the 16th and one on the 20th. However, both results came to be negative.
TWICE recently held a concert from April 23rd to the 25th at the Tokyo Dome.
A representative for the label remarked, "The members of TWICE had repeatedly gotten tested. For the three days they were there, they all tested negative."
However, when the members were tested again to return to Korea, Sana had tested positive. The star is currently in quarantine in Japan.
Sana has received three full doses of the vaccine. The label claimed, "Sana is receiving treatment and in isolation with the rules of Japan."
The rest of the members have tested negative. All of the members but Sana had returned to Korea.
JYP Entertainment commented, "We apologize to the fans for causing distress. We will do everything we can for the recovery of our artists."
TWICE will perform in Los Angeles in May 14th-15th for their encore concert at the Bank of California Stadium.
