TWICE are continuing to prove themselves to be international superstars. The group is headed for Los Angeles in May for encore concerts.
JYP Entertainment took to Twice's social media pages on March 31st to announce news of the group's U.S. concerts.
The concert in question will be held at the Banc of California Stadium, with a capacity of 22,000. Twice is now the first Kpop girl group to perform at a U.S. stadium.
Twice held a few concerts back in February 15th at the LA Forum and at the USB Arena in New York on the 27th. The girl group held a total of seven concerts in five cities with an audience of 10,000 people in one concert.
The tickets were famously sold out within the opening. In turn, a total of two days were added to the list of concerts, one on February 15th at the LA Forum and another at the USB Arena in New York on the 27th. The tickets for the two concerts were also sold out within minutes of its release.
The members of Twice are headed to the U.S. once again on May 14th for their encore concert.
Once the group finishes up their encore performances, they are headed for Japan for a number of concerts. The concerts will last from April 23rd to the 25th at the Tokyo Dome.
2022 marks Twice's fifth year since the group's Japanese debut. In celebration of the anniversary, the group had released a best album on March 26th, containing the group's greatest hits. Twice is also planning on releasing a DVD in May and a Japanese album in July.
