Stray Kids' Changbin and Han Test Positive for Covid-19, Halts Comeback Promotions

Stray Kids have recently returned to the Kpop scene with a comeback. However, it's been revealed that Han and Changbin have recently tested positive for Covid-19. The health of the two seems to be in stable condition, but the first comeback schedule has been unfortunately, canceled.

JYP Entertainment had released the group's comeback album on March 18th. News of the comeback was soon followed by the announcement of Changbin's Covid diagnosis. As of March 19th, member Han has also tested positive for the virus.

Changbin had taken a Covid test kit for a mandatory test result and followed through with promotions on the morning of March 18th at KBS-2TV Music Bank after testing negative.

However, the member soon tested positive after taking the kit once more for the afternoon schedule. Changbin was immediately taken to get a PCR test and was revealed to be positive.

JYP Entertainment claimed to have taken all measures for the health and safety of the artists and staff. The other members were also allegedly tested and received a negative test result.

However, as of March 19th, member Han had received notice of his positive test results. The label stated, "Changbin, Han, and the rest of the members have all gotten two doses of the vaccine. The two members show no serious symptoms and are currently in quarantine."

The promotions for the group's comeback from March 19th to the 20th have been canceled. JYP Entertainment remarked, "We ask for the fans understanding during this time. We know the fans have been waiting so long for this."

Stray Kids came back with their new album, "Oddinary" on March 18th at 1:00 PM (KST). The title track is called "Maniac", and showcases a wide range of the group's musical abilities.
