TWICE is stacking up records like a stack of hot cakes.
According to JYP Entertainment, the girl group’s “Fancy” music video had accumulated a total of 500 million views on YouTube as of March 15th 3:32 AM (KST).
The record makes it the group’s fourth song to have achieved such a feat. TWICE has previously surpassed the mark with “TT”, “LIKEY”, and “What is Love?”
“Fancy” was released back in April of 2019 through their 7th mini album, “Fancy You.” The track marked the transition in the group’s music genre.
The song spoke of confidence with lyrics such as “Who cares about who likes who first” and more. “Fancy” also attracted fans with their powerful choreography, bold lyrics, and aesthetics.
The viewer count for their music videos are expected to rise as time goes by. A total of nineteen of their songs including their debut track had already passed the million mark.
TWICE are currently gearing up for a special project for the group’s 5th year Japanese anniversary. The group is set to release a collection of their greatest hits, “#TWICE 4” on March 16th.
TWICE are also holding a few concerts in Japan at the Tokyo Dome on April 23rd to the 25th, garnering a lot of love from their fans.
