The Ulsan Court, District instead claimed, “Although the victim had requested financial responsibility from the actress. The actress cannot be held responsible due to the fact that it was done without the star’s involvement.”

Back in 2020, victim A had issued the responsibility of Han So Hee. The actress’s mother had borrowed money worth 400,000,00 won. 

Mrs. Shin went as far as to use real texts from her daughter. The messages contained the actress telling her mother, “Mom, I’ll work hard so that I could help you.”

However, the court remained firm. The documents that Dispatch obtained also show that the star had no involvement in the fraud. 

The court further explained, “The texts between the mother and daughter is not enough to point to evidence of the actress’s involvement.”

Mrs. Shin had opened a bank account under Han So Hee’s name and borrowed money from an acquaintance. The victim, (victim B) had requested compensation of 270,000,000 won. 

The court then ruled again, “The fact that the account was used without the consent and knowledge of the actress, makes her free of any possible charges.”

The case is currently still ongoing and the criticism from the actions of the actress’s mother has moved on to Han So Hee.

Han So Hee has worked to pay off the debts of her mother. However, the star is now faced with identity theft and fraud from her mother under her name. It has now come too far for the actress to handle on her own. 

Han So Hee has now spoke out about the controversy, rejecting any responsibility for her mother’s actions. The actress previously stated that she has no plans on taking on the financial debt and is deeply apologetic to the victims for her mother’s actions. The actress has expressed her desire to see an end of such situations.
