There are cats that have been pained in the past.

These beautiful cats

have either been abused or left on their own.

Hopefully, their pain may be washed away

even if it is just for a day...

Seventeen's S.Coups, Wonwoo, and Dino

personally visited these beautiful cats.

This animal shelter is located in Seoul Yongsangu, under the name "Butterfly, I love you." The shelter houses a total of eighty cats.

All of the cats have stories of their own. There are cats who have been left out on the streets by their past owners, and there are cats that have been rescued from cat mills.

The members of Seventeen's hearts grew heavy at the stories of the innocent cats. The boys rushed over to the shelter as soon as their album promotions came to an end. Scroll below to see the warmth the boys casted over the hurt cats that day.

S.Coups, Wonwoo, and Dino went straight for the cleaning utensils the minute they got there. Wonwoo, with experience living alone, led the small group. The floors were cleaned in no time.

The youngest, Dino, claims to be a little afraid of cats. He had built up the courage to visit the shelter with the older members. Wonwoo came to his aid, with advice on how to treat cats.

"I'm good at this, aren't I?"

It's time to actively play with the cats. As soon as the boys were done cleaning, they brought out toys. The cats gathered around the boys as if they were waiting for them to play.

The busiest member this day was S.Coups. He made an effort to call all of the cats from every room. He sat down and stood up as he played with the cats.

"Cats are known to be very cautious animals. But I think they're very loved in animal shelters, so they open up more. I am healed through this experience." (S.Coups)

It was soon lunch time. The members poured food into the bowls for the cats to eat away. They tried their very best to be present with the cats and play with them.

"Good job, you're eating so well." (Dino)

"Care for every single one!"

The Seventeen members continued to shower the cats with love. They cared for each cat with the love they deserve.

"I was thankful to the cats for approaching us so warmly when we entered. I think we were able to spend this meaningful time with the cats by following Wonwoo. I wish people would raise animals with more responsibility." (S.Coups)

"The cats were a little intimidating at first. But I warmed up to them after having fed, and played with them. I think I gained energy and happiness from them, rather than it being the other way around. It was such a nice experience." (Dino)

"The experience brought us happiness. I feel humbled through giving love to animals who need it. I hope people pay more attention to stray cats." (Wonwoo)

P.S. Lastly, we have Wonwoo's story. We think it's important to reveal this special connection with Wonwoo and the animal shelter.

Wonwoo has consistently done volunteer work, helping cats in need. The thoughtful star had donated to the cats in the shelter, allowing the cats to get extra medical care.

Seventeen has done a lot of voluntary work in the past. They've helped cats in need, and cleaned up areas that needed work done.
